Camporee 2026 - Pirates of Pupukea -CANCELLED

Posted by mattdicksion on Feb 12 2026 - 4:45pm

2/12/2026 UPDATE: Days of high winds and heavy rain have forced the cancellation of this year's Spring Camporee.

Registration is now open for the Oahu Spring Camporee 2026, PIRATES of Pupukea, and this is one Scouting adventure you do not want to miss. Open to all Scouting units across the Aloha Council, this pirate-themed camporee promises an unforgettable weekend filled with fun, teamwork, and high-seas excitement at Camp Pupukea.

Spring Camporee is one of the highlights of the Scouting year. Scouts will work together as crews through exciting activities designed to build leadership, cooperation, problem-solving skills, and Scout spirit. From friendly competition to hands-on challenges, this event delivers adventure, growth, and memories that last long after the campfire goes out.
Participation is limited, and this is a capped event. Once registration fills, no additional spots will be available. Units are strongly encouraged to reserve their place early to ensure their Scouts don’t miss out on all the action, camaraderie, and excitement that make camporees such a meaningful part of the Scouting experience.

Registration and event details are available here:

Troop Dues for 2026

Posted by mattdicksion on Feb 8 2026 - 9:11pm

This is just a reminder that dues were due at the end of January, but Troop 311 also wants to support any scouts in need of a scholarship for their troop dues.   Please email Francisco Garcia (fgarcia@usacs.com) or James Adams(troop311kailuatreasurer@gmail.com) for assistance with this.

Merit Badge Clinic - Next Session March 7. Adult volunteers still needed!

Posted by mattdicksion on Feb 8 2026 - 9:09pm

The clinic is scheduled to continue Saturday mornings on March 7, and April 4.  Sign up via the Troop 311 website calendar.

Although Citizenship in the World, Personal Management, and Communication have reached capacity, additional adult volunteers could allow for larger classes.

We are also looking for extra adult volunteers to help with the cooking merit badge sessions on March 7th and April 4th.

Some merit badges are rank- and/or age-focused and certain prerequisites should have been started in January.

Complete details, schedules, and requirements are available at the Merit Badge Clinic link under the Advancement page.

Pupukea Summer Camp July 19-25, 2026

Posted by mattdicksion on Jan 3 2026 - 11:11am

In order to be able to have our scouts camp we need at least 4 registered/trained adult leaders. Both Scoutmasters are unavailable Summer 2026 so starting to plan now to see if we have leadership to make this a go. You don't need to be there the entire week. Please let us know if you are able to take a day/two-few (what days) with our scouts OR be willing to drive up food. Please share your name and email when you RSVP on the Troop 311 calender so we can start tracking.
